Site Viewing Terms
Draft, pending attorney review.
Before you view this bid
BidsATX (—, Austin, Texas) shows contractors redacted, preliminary bids for possible construction jobs. By clicking "Agree and View Bid", you agree to these terms for yourself and the business you represent (together, "you").
1. No fee for looking. Viewing, editing prices, or uploading a logo costs nothing and does not commit you to anything. You owe a fee only if you accept a Lead (by signing a Lead Acceptance) and your company or its affiliates are then hired for that work at that property — except as stated in Section 3.
2. Keep it confidential. The redacted bids, our prices, quantities and methods, and anything that identifies a job are our confidential information. Use them only to decide whether to accept the Lead. Do not share them outside your business or use them to find the property.
3. Don't go around us. If you use what you see here to identify a property and pursue that job without accepting the Lead, and your company or an affiliate is hired for that work within 12 months (tap and demolition) or 24 months (new home) after you first viewed it, you agree to pay the same fee that would have applied had you accepted the Lead (1% of the contract price, minimum $150). We must show that you used our information; simply finding the same job on your own is not a breach.
4. Estimates only — no reliance. THE BIDS ARE PRELIMINARY, NON-BINDING ESTIMATES MADE FROM PUBLIC RECORDS WITHOUT A SITE VISIT, PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY. DO NOT RELY ON THEM. YOU MUST VERIFY EVERYTHING YOURSELF BEFORE BIDDING. We are not a contractor, engineer, architect, plumber, or real estate broker.
5. No promises. We do not promise that any job is available, that the owner is willing to hire, that no one else has seen the lead, or any result.
6. Your info. We record your visit (email address, time, IP address, and what you viewed and changed) to operate the site, protect our information, and match any later job award. See https://bidsatx.com/privacy.
7. Law. Texas law governs. These terms are performable in Travis County, Texas. If you accept a Lead, the Master Job Lead Introduction Agreement then governs that Lead and controls over these terms.
